Improving your mental health is not an easy process and it’ll require you to make conscious efforts towards it as the reward is also very high when you take care of your mental health your physical health also improves.

Quality sleep: Yup you heard it right sleep is a very important thing and here I don’t mean you to sleep a lot, here I want you to maintain a sleep schedule going to sleep every day at the same time as it’ll increase your productivity and also release a hormone called melatonin which have the following benefits Enhanced cognitive function, emotional resilience, and overall mental health

    Teenagers (13-18 years): 8-10 hours per day.

    Adults (18-64 years): 7-9 hours per day.
    Older Adults (65 years and older): 7-8 hours per day.

     

  4. Volunteering or Helping Others: Go help in hospitals or NGOs it’s one the best things you can do for your mental health, you’ll build social connections also you’ll be more grateful about life.
    Volunteering or helping others releases a hormone called Oxytocin which has the following benefits Enhanced sense of purpose, and increased feelings of connection and fulfillment.
